The Dog Haus was born out of a love for dogs, the outdoors, and good beer. Co-founders Travis Ismir and Thompson Gooding saw the concept explode in popularity across the Southeast and, over a few beers, set the wheels in motion to bring the first dog bar to Tallahassee. Our search for land began, and after months of looking for the perfect spot, we came across a property just off the Pine Beetle Trail. Then the real work began. After two long years, with plenty of help from some great team members (and a couple of wives who thought we were crazy), financing was secured and construction began. Our vision for The Dog Haus is more than just a dog bar—it’s a community. It’s where birthday parties are thrown for dogs, first dates happen between rescue mutt owners, and Sunday mornings start with puppy yoga and mimosas. Because in Tallahassee, we believe the best moments happen when tails are wagging and glasses are clinking.
The Dog Haus is always looking for talented, motivated individuals to fill a variety of front-of-house, back-of-house and dog park positions. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the growth of a vibrant, exciting business that brings joy to people and dogs.
